Just when you think you have a handle on all the toxic ingredients that get slipped into your foods and supplements, they come up with another one.
And this one is in everything it seems.
It sounds innocent enough… They have gotten really good at that level of deception, making you think something added is ok and won’t harm you.
Don’t be fooled. A wise consumer stays one step ahead of the game in today’s toxic world.
There is a very good chance that this innocent sounding toxic additive is a basis for your mysterious allergic responses, and also for developing cancer. Many cancers start as a fungal overgrowth.
Why does a fungal overgrowth develop, you ask? One of the ways is antibiotic overuse that destroys your good flora, leaving you defenseless and allowing fungus to run rampant.
Another way is by molds being introduced into the body. In this case, this innocent sounding toxic additive is really a deadly black mold.
This frightening additive that you will find on a plethora of supplement and food ingredient labels is none other than… Citric acid.
“But wait!!” you say… Doesn’t citric acid come from lemons and limes?
That’s what they want you to think.
Here’s the deal…
Citric acid used to be derived from citrus. It was used as a preservative and to provide a longer shelf life for foods.
There was a time before this when boric acid was used, but then they switched to citric acid from lemons and limes. Around this same time in the 1970’s and 80’s, the mad scientists in the labs came up with a GMO version of a synthetic black mold aka citric acid.
OK, let’s drill this down. Let’s say you have a mold allergy. Unknowingly, you consume or come in contact with a product that lists citric acid on the label. You have just ingested or been exposed to a genetically modified mold.
Let that sink in for a minute…
This is where the nightmare begins…
- Your tonsils can swell
- You can develop acne
- You can bloat
- Your sinuses can get congested
- You can develop rashes
- You can just feel lousy
Thing is, you can’t figure out why.
It’s because citric acid is not natural any more. It is manufactured through fermentation of aspergillus niger, a potent mold allergen.
This allergen can trigger an allergic inflammatory response that leads to inflammation and resulting asthma, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and the list goes on and on…
But don’t worry, the FDA has awarded the GMO citric acid the GRAS status. “Generally regarded as safe.” When you see this, you had better get worried.
Your only defense is to read every single label of any item you are purchasing. If you see citric acid listed, put it back on the shelf and step away.
Your health depends on it.
